Hi, I’m Matthew Brumley.
It’s been nearly 20 years since we first conceived of the idea of Earthbound Expeditions. Since then, Earthbounders have swum with the seals in the Galapagos, sipped fine Malbecs in Argentine vineyards, enjoyed cooking classes in a 12th century Tuscan castle and attended world-class performances in stunning concert halls.
As we expand and create new small group adventures, our mission remains constant: to uncover the many mysteries of the planet with our guests in a truly enriching way. To accomplish this, Earthbound has chosen to take it slowly. Getting to know a local baker, sipping a fine Vino Nobile with the village winemaker or strolling through a colorful outdoor market is precisely what travel is all about for us. Earthbound Expeditions is dedicated to the art of travel and will stop at nothing (except for the occasional eruption of Mt. Etna) to ensure your journey with us is a memorable experience.
Earthbound Expeditions is also a proud partner with many public radio stations, helping them create unique, tailored small group adventures for their listeners and supporters. Overseas concerts for classical music enthusiasts, world-famous garden exhibitions for foliage fanatics, Jazz festivals in Cape Town & Buenos Aires, you name it and the Earthbound Expeditions team has put it together. Repeat public radio station clients include Wisconsin Public Radio of Madison, WFMT of Chicago, KQAC of Portland, KPLU of Seattle and KDFC of San Francisco, to name just a few. for your next public radio station hosted journey! You may also hear my travel segment each week at “Going Places with Matthew Brumley” on KPLU-NPR Public Radio, Seattle.
If you are in search of an authentic travel experience, take a peek at Earthbound’s one-of-a-kind, hand crafted journeys. Designed for the traveler with an independent streak, our small group adventures are certain to please and delight those not wishing to take a “tour” but a journey.
We look forward to discovering the world with you.
